The waterproof 3-pin LED connectors with cables provide an easy way to connect 12.5 mm wide IP68 COB Tunable White LED strips.

“LED-to-LED” means that there is a connector for a COB Tunable White LED strip at each end of the 170-mm cable. This allows two LED strips to be connected without soldering, and the cable offers the flexibility to use the product as a corner connector as well.

A connection is punched into the LED strips using a pressure contact to ensure a durable, stable connection. The 3-pin LED connector is designed for a one-time connection.

Installation:
  • Cut the strip to the desired length at the markings. Pro tip: For COB LED strips, cut just past the marking and intentionally sacrifice one pitch unit as waste.
  • Fill the connector with transparent, acetic acid-free silicone.
  • Make sure the polarity is correct when inserting the strip.
  • Press the connector together until the metal contacts audibly click into place.
  • Then apply a sufficient amount of silicone around the outside of the connector.
  • Allow the silicone to cure for 24 hours, then continue with the installation.

Conventional corner connectors for LED strips may seem practical at first glance, but they are often only suitable for fixed 90° angles and offer little flexibility during installation, which can make it difficult to cut the LED strips to the exact length. Connectors with cables are the better solution here. The cable can be easily tucked away in the LED channel and allows for a clean, flexible connection, even if the corner doesn’t fit exactly or a little more flexibility is needed.
